I was a Fashion Illustrator for 25 years, from 1965 to 1990.  All ads for department stores were done in art, until the printing processes were perfected and photography was finally able to faithfully be reproduced in newspapers.  This is some of the work I did from the 1970's for a store called Diamond's in Phoenix, AZ.  It later became Dillards'.  This work is from both stores except for the Levi's Docker's ad (the handstand) which was a comp for SF agency FCB.
